The rain kept falling through Oregon , and followed
us to the beautiful Redwood Forest.
Never leave for a camping trip without rain boots!!!
We were wet and soggy , but still enjoyed the
magnificent trees of this forest.
This is the view from our campsite .
Utsikten fran varan husvagn .
See the mist , and the rain.....,and the barking seals.
Sjolejon i regn och dimma.
This is the highest tree in the park ,over 100 meters.
I don't know how to turn this image around , I'll try
to figure it out till my next posting , but for now
you'll have to turn your head.
Det har ar parkens storsta trad , over 100 meter hogt.
Jag hoppas pa att kluta ut hur man vander pa bilden,
men for stunden far ni vanda pa huvudet....
The Big One! Den allra storsta!
A misty ,slippery ,dripping beautiful forest!
En dimmig,lerig,regnig,droppande skog!
They were immense , and large enough to fit a family .
This morning we woke up extra early , and drove to
San Francisco .
But more on that topic in a few days .
Stora nog for en hel familj!
Idag vaknade vi tidigt , och korde hela vagen till
San Francisco .Har ar det soligt och varmt, harligt!
You HAVE to love the rain... it's a prerequisite... that is why the trees are so big! :) LOL Oregon is gorgeous though, no?
ReplyDeleteI don't usually mind the rain so much , but all those wet clothes and boots in the trailer does not make me a happy camper .
ReplyDeleteBut the trees left us speechless , absolutely immense , magnificent! So the rain did a good job with that .
But otherwise I'm a firm believer that camping should be done in sunshine and warmth, and that at least we are getting a lot of now , in Nevada.
